With The Godfrey Hotel Chicago now open, we wanted to share with you some updated photos from the guest rooms! No matter the type of room you book with us, you’ll always find a place to relax, and a place to work (if you need it). Look forward to luxurious towels and spa products in the bathrooms, too.
We’re thrilled to share a new update on the opening of our hotel. This morning, Mayor Rahm Emanuel celebrated the opening of The Godfrey Hotel Chicago (127 W. Huron St. at LaSalle St.), the 16-story, 221 room boutique hotel located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Mayor Emanuel, along with Hotel Manager Jermaine Anderson and Oxford Capital President and CEO John Rutledge, provided media and guests with an overview of the launch of the luxury lifestyle brand in Chicago, which brings more than 150 new jobs to the area.
The Mayor also was guided through a tour of our premiere property and learned how our hotel brings our tagline “Discover Your Element” to life.
The Godfrey Hotel opened its doors on Feb. 1, 2014 and is managed by Oxford Hotels & Resorts, LLC. The Godfrey Hotel is currently taking reservations at a rate of $159, non-inclusive of tax and gratuity with subject to change closer to opening.

I|O Urban Roofscape is the place to be now that The Godfrey Hotel has opened! We have had several organizations host parties, lunches and other events in the rooftop space so far. On Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2013, Stimulus Social Club hosted a Mercy for Animals benefit, which was also the first official event at I|O.
Today, we welcomed ChooseChicago for lunch on a beautiful sunny day. We look forward to seeing you at your next event!
