This #SiteVisit Friday we have another new development to unveil: elevators!
This is one of three elevators at The Godfrey, however this is the main set of elevators for our guests. These guys reside in the lobby and will be getting lots of use soon.

Do you ever wonder how windows are installed?
Thanks to this handy window suction device we’re able to securely install each window on the exterior of the building:
There’s a motor on the unit that raises and lowers the windows that are attached to the device. There are three suctions total that attach to each window. It’s quite an efficient mechanism that gets the job done safely.
The construction of I|O is well underway; we’re eagerly anticipating the day our swanky urban roofscape makes its big debut. Here are some progress photos thus far:

It may be difficult to envision at the moment, but these are the bones of what will be our lobby, the first area you experience upon entering our property.
We have big plans for this space and our team is hard at work making progress every day. We’re currently living by the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson:

We have exciting #SiteVisit Friday news to report: we have drywall! The entire fifth floor is now dry walled and, if you look at the photos below, you can see what a difference it makes. This is a major step in the evolution of our property. One floor down, several more to go!
