The Godfrey Hotel featured in Travel + Leisure Magazine

Travel+Leisure placed The Godfrey at the top of the new hotel list in “Chicago Decoder”. They featured our modern structure and how it “cuts a commanding figure against the Chicago Skyline.”

Although as the new kid on the block, we certainly take advantage of the more modern things we can offer guests, just like T+L mentioned our RFID card scanners. With this, guests don’t even have to juggle everything to simply open their door. Convenience at its finest. To some it may seem like a modern luxury, but to us, it just makes sense.

Chicago is a great city, with plenty to do and see. You never know where you may find the next adventure or even find time to relax. At The Godfrey Hotel, we strive to give you a modern, luxurious experience, so you can find your element.

Name The Element Contest

Did you hear? Scientists discovered a new element – and it needs a name! Help us name our Element 139 for a chance to win a low rate ($139 for an entire year!) and more.

Entering is easy: Just “Like” our Facebook page, and submit the Element name and your reasoning (1-2 sentences max).

Need some ideas? At The Godfrey Hotel Chicago, we created a rare spot where guests will feel entirely at easy and will “Discover Your Element.” The hotel’s 42-element chart allows guests to define their own travel experiences.

Here’s a few of our existing Elements for your creative inspiration:

– Io with the Element number of 4 and the name of “Roofscape” represents I|O Urban Roofscape, Chicago’s largest indoor/outdoor lounge perched on the hotel’s 4th floor.

– Sp with the Element number 5 represents Spa●Boutique located on the 5th floor.

The winner will receive 1 complimentary night, plus a great rate of just $139/night plus tax for all of 2014 (some restrictions and blackout dates apply) and a $25 gift card to I|O Urban Roofscape. The second place winner will receive a one-night complimentary stay (some restrictions and blackout dates apply). Be it fine dining, a wedding venue, plush robes, a swanky urban roofscape or cozy bedding, we invite you to find your element at our 4-star hotel.

Here’s Our Card

We hope our guests will be in their element with our new “Element” cards. Designed to bring a smile to our guests faces, these cards were developed around humor and laughter and play on the periodic table of elements.
