Get to Know Godfrey: Guests are invited to get to know The Godfrey Hotel Boston and its many amenities by receiving special room rates starting at $199. The Godfrey Hotel Boston’s thoughtfully-appointed rooms feature fast, complimentary Wi-Fi, 55-inch HDTVs, luxurious Frette linens, Heeley bath products and more. This rate is available for stays November 16, 2015 to February 29, 2016.

Element 617: With the opening of The Godfrey Hotel Boston, Downtown Boston locals are invited to “Discover Your Element” with customized room rates this fall and beyond. Residents, and those who work in the Downtown Boston area, receive a 15% discount off of the lowest standard rate on all guest rooms throughout the year 2016. In order to receive this rate, guests must present a state ID or business card with a Downtown Boston address at check-in.

The Godfrey Hotel featured in Travel + Leisure Magazine

Travel+Leisure placed The Godfrey at the top of the new hotel list in “Chicago Decoder”. They featured our modern structure and how it “cuts a commanding figure against the Chicago Skyline.”

Although as the new kid on the block, we certainly take advantage of the more modern things we can offer guests, just like T+L mentioned our RFID card scanners. With this, guests don’t even have to juggle everything to simply open their door. Convenience at its finest. To some it may seem like a modern luxury, but to us, it just makes sense.

How The Godfrey Hotel Chicago Does Laundry

Today we want to show you something that people other than hospitality employees rarely get to see – the laundry room at a luxury hotel. It’s even more unusual because a lot of boutique hotels outsource their laundry services elsewhere.

At the Godfrey Hotel Chicago, we’re different in that we want to maintain high-quality linens and towels, and by keeping laundry in house, we can ensure that it’s done right and to our high quality standards. The washers and dryers you see below aren’t even the most interesting part!

Laundry Dryer — A new laundry room dryer was installed recently.

We promised you earlier today on Instagram that we would tell you what the enormous machine below does, and trust us, you’ll want one in your own home. It folds laundry automatically! With the touch of a button, clean towels and linens are folded and prepped for guest rooms. Again, this is something many luxury hotels usually do not have in house, but because it keeps the supply of those fluffy towels and comfortable sheets replenished with ease, it sure is a gorgeous contraption.
